BEVERLY 鈥� The Fort Frye baseball team is off to an 11-1 start this spring, and nobody is enjoying the Cadets鈥� success more than senior Dawson Layton. Layton, who earned the pitching win in Fort Frye鈥檚 6-3 win over Williamstown Friday, is in his third year on the Cadets鈥� varsity squad. For 25 games, the Williamstown boys basketball team was unbeatable. Though the 2022-23 season didn鈥檛 have the ending the Yellowjackets hoped for, falling to Charleston Catholic in the Class AA state semifinals, head coach Scott Sauro was proud of what this year鈥檚 group accomplished.
