MORGANTOWN — The case for WVU men’s basketball player Javan Buchanan to earn a fifth year of college eligibility now has a co-plaintiff in former WVU forward Brenan Lorient. Both players filed a complaint against the NCAA in the Northern District of West Virginia on Monday, with both players seeking a fifth season of eligibility. Tucker Aces Lakeside Melody Tucker, of Beverly, recorded a hole-in-one at Lakeside Golf Course. Tucker aced hole No. 6, a 90-yard par 3, using a 3 wood. The feat was witnessed by Chris Baker and Angie Huck. Law Aces Minibel Mitch Law recorded his 12th career hole-in-one on Tuesday at the Minibel Par 3 Golf Course. BEVERLY – Sixteen under won the 11th BrAva Golf Outing on July 25 at the Lakeside Golf Course in Beverly. The winning foursome of Aaron Clark, Derek Ginther and Brad Kearns of Waterford and Kelson McCurdy of Beverly shot 54 in the annual benefit scramble at the par-70 Lakeside.
