Thank goodness and thank the Lord God Almighty the Belpre City School Board is putting the levy of many years back on the ballot come November.

Thank goodness the board looks out for the betterment of the students, teachers and schools.

Now we need to get the parents and young people out to vote in November for the continuance of the levy, which will NOT do anything to change property taxes.

Our parents, young people and people who believe in education and the students MUST get out and vote! We have to defeat these senior citizen men that meet at McDonald's and Hardee's of a morning and have nothing better to do than the work of evil to defeat and misinform people about the levy. This levy has been routinely passed for the last 30 years and cost nothing more to taxpayers -- that is zero dollars.

These men need to get educated by attending the Board meetings, volunteer at the schools and in the parks, and put their time to good use. Then they will know the real facts and not their made up stories.

Voters, get out there and be informed of the truth, real facts about Belpre Schools and our students -- attend board meetings, volunteer, be useful and most of all be informed not misled.

Let's take Belpre in the right direction! Our students and teachers are. Let's stand with them!! Attend board meetings, get to know the board members, superintendent, the treasurer -- these are very transparent people that have caring hearts for the students and betterment of education, and most of all the community.

Don't stand with a bunch of grumpy senior citizens that are out to defeat the cause of education and the betterment of our students.

Our young people are our future -- not a bunch of grumpy ole men.

God bless our Belpre City Schools, our board of education, and our city of Belpre. May God prepare us for the future of those to come after us. That is you and I, taxpayers. There is NO tax increase in the continuing levy!

With passion for the betterment of Belpre!
