Letter to the Editor: What would King think?

Contrary to what our giggling vice president said on Martin Luther King Day, our freedom is not under a profound threat. The profound threat to us is her. She cites the overturning of Roe V. Wade, long lines for voting, book bans, and the continual problem of gun violence as reasons why our freedom is at risk.
So, let me get this straight; stopping the murder of babies in the womb, long lines for voting (is that not a good thing ... more people wanting to vote?), book bans (some need to be banned), and the problem of gun violence, are profound threats to our freedom?
On MLK Day, I believe Dr. King, complex and flawed person that he was (just like us), would not approve of murder in the womb, would be proud of long lines to vote, would approve the banning of some books because of their absolute filth, and would place the blame for gun violence where it belongs; on the person not the object. He was smart enough to recognize, as a former Baptist Pastor, that it is a problem with sin and morality for the person and not the inanimate object.
Sin is rampant in the world and what once was wrong is now called right and vice versa. I believe Dr. King would not approve of the charade of the BLM movement. It is an organization dedicated to power, control and money and is spreading lies about people, while the leaders have ensconced themselves in palatial estates.
Satan is the god of this world and he is as a roaring lion, going to and fro seeking whom he might devour ..." Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:" 1 Peter 5:8 KJVs.
He also has disguised himself as an angel of light and is a master of deception. "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." 2 Corinthians 11:14 KJV. Satan will lead people down the wrong path and is doing it every day.
The controversy in sports today, where men are wanting to compete as a woman or boys as girls is just so ludicrous beyond comprehension. No matter what you add or subtract from your body does not change what you were at birth.
The solution to these problems is Jesus Christ. Accept him today.
