What is climate? The average course or condition of the weather at a place usually over a period of years as exhibited by temperature, wind velocity, and precipitation -- Merriam-Webster online dictionary.

Contrary to what climate activists believe, climate has always changed according to what God has allowed. God is not some genie who just changes or adjusts climate or weather conditions to suit the whims of people. God is sovereign; He is in charge. Whether a person believes that is up to the individual. Whether a person believes God exists is also up to them. I believe in God and trust Him with the climate.

It is somewhat noble that climate activists desire to help the Earth, to deliberately do good things, in their opinion, to help with protecting the Earth. That is all well and good, but it fails to recognize that this Earth will not always exist and therefore their efforts for this Earth are somewhat futile. The Earth will come to an end, as God says, and by fire; not by water as in the days of Noah. "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." 2 Peter 3:10 KJV The rainbow in the sky is a promise from God that He will not destroy the Earth by water again. This present earth will not always exist. "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new Earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind." Isaiah 65:17 KJV.

But, what does this mean? It means that God, in his time, will destroy the Earth by fire, after those believers (living and dead) are raptured (snatched away) and go with God to glory. They get to do this by the Grace of Jesus who paid for our sins on the cross. If you notice the second part of the verse, "and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind." This is especially comforting to me, as we all have relatives and friends, who have never accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. Going through eternity thinking about the ones not in Heaven would be a terrible ordeal.

Climate is in God's hands. Turn to Jesus today.
