Harold DeWayne “Jack” Payne, 91 of St. Marys, WV, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 11, 2026. Born in Ritchie County near Cairo, WV, on November 2, 1934, he was the son of the late Harold and Mabel Griffith Payne. Jack was a graduate of Pennsboro High School. He worked as a skilled Master Chevrolet Mechanic and retired as a certified millwright with local union 1755 out of Parkersburg, WV.
