Harold DeWayne “Jack” Payne, 91 of St. Marys, WV, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 11, 2026. Born in Ritchie County near Cairo, WV, on November 2, 1934, he was the son of the late Harold and Mabel Griffith Payne. Jack was a graduate of Pennsboro High School. He worked as a skilled Master Chevrolet Mechanic and retired as a certified millwright with local union 1755 out of Parkersburg, WV. Dorothy Jean (Blackburn) Cole, age 93, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026 at her home in Belpre, Ohio. She was born August 17, 1932 in Torch, Ohio to the late Melvin and Gladys (Boston) Blackburn. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Leslie M. Cole who passed away in October 2002. She spent most of her life as a homemaker.
