Tinlee Jean-Marie McCarty gained her angel wings on July 21, 2026, after only 17 precious days with her parents, Amanda Phillips and Donald McCarty III. She was born at OSU Hospital in Columbus, OH on July 4, 2026 where she braved the battle against genetic anomalies at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her aunts, Tanya Leonard (Eric Wilson), Terri Riffle, and Amber Davis; uncles, Jess Riffle and Scott Phillips; grandmother, Denise Burch; maternal grandfather, Carl Hendershot; and many cousins.
Tinlee is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Norma Phillips; paternal grandmother, Debbie Marie McCarty and paternal grandfather, Donald McCarty Jr.
The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Nationwide Children's Hospital NICU Team for the care they gave Tinlee.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg has been entrusted with Tinlee's final services and are honored to serve the McCarty-Phillips family.
