James K. Tressler Jr., went home to be with the Lord on July 25, 2026. Jim was born in Morgantown, WV, on April 28, 1954, to James K. Tressler Sr. and Helen Tressler. Jim resided in Mineral Wells, WV, and loved attending church service at Landmark Baptist Church and spending time with his family.
Jim spent over 20 years serving his country in the 101st Airborne Division and the Army National Guard 1092nd Engineer Battalion. Jim is survived by his sister, Janet Watkins, nephew, Kenny Watkins, two great nephews, Cody Watkins and Gunner Sands, and a great niece, Lexi Wilson.
A gathering will be held at Landmark Baptist Church on August 4, 2026, at 5 pm with a memorial service to follow at 6 pm.
