One hospitalized after Myrtle Street shooting; suspect in custody

PARKERSBURG 鈥� A shooting that left one person hospitalized remained under investigation Friday evening. Parkersburg Police responded around 11 a.m. to a shooting in the 500 block of Myrtle Street. Police Capt. R.L. Koher said the victim was taken to WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center for treatment, where his condition was not immediately available. Ohio man sentenced on federal drug charge from Wetzel County

WHEELING 鈥� An Ohio man who transported methamphetamine to Wetzel County was sentenced this week to 10 years in federal prison, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia Matthew L. Harvey announced. Kyle Thomas Bryan, 33, of Warren, was sentenced Tuesday to 120 months in prison on a charge of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.
