Parts of 19th Street, Ohio Avenue to close Thursday

PARKERSBURG – Portions of two streets will be closed Thursday as the Parkersburg Utility Board performs pavement restoration following a fire hydrant replacement and leak repair. Beginning at 6 a.m., 19th Street will be closed from Murdoch to Garfield Avenue and Ohio Avenue will be closed from 19th to 20th Street, according to a release from the PUB. The closures are expected to continue throughout the day until the work is completed. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
