PARKERSBURG -- Three people were arrested Friday after the Parkersburg Police Department's SWAT team executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Seventh Street, police said.
The search was conducted as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, according to a release from Parkersburg Police Chief Matthew Board.
Gary Losey, 44, of Parkersburg, was arrested and charged with maintaining a dwelling used for keeping, selling or using controlled substances.
Mikhail Patterson, 23, of Charleston, was arrested and charged with obstructing during the execution of the search warrant, the release said.
Andrew Wiant was also found at the residence and arrested on a capias warrant issued in Harrison County. The release did not provide Wiant's age or hometown.
Officers found suspected controlled substances inside the residence, according to the department. The substances will be submitted to the West Virginia State Police Forensic Laboratory for testing.
Results from the laboratory testing could lead to additional charges, police said.
The Parkersburg Police Department continues to investigate the case.
