The 94th Annual Belpre Homecoming kicked off Thursday evening with music, food and free ride night.
Hundreds of people filled Civitan Park to enjoy the opening of the annual Belpre Homecoming event, an event that Belpre Homecoming Treasurer Jamie McCormick said he hoped was going to let attendees have "the time of their lives".
McCormick also said the festival has seemed to grow every year, even just by the sight of attendees at the start of the festival and the inclusion of new events. New events include the return of Snow Biz, hair braiding stations, a slime vendor and a glitter station. McCormick also highlighted a new entertainment act of an LED robot on stilts as well as an updated park layout to hopefully help the flow of foot traffic.
