St. Francis Xavier hosting National Night of Prayer
PARKERSBURG -- The National Night of Prayer for Life, Faith, Family and Country will be held from 6-10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at St. Francis Xavier Church, 532 Market St., Parkersburg.
People are welcome to come for part or all of the service, which will consist of four one-hour periods.
The program includes Eucharistic adoration all evening; benediction; silent meditation; the Rosary; hymns and prayers to God, the Blessed Virgin and saints; community prayers for family, the United States, the souls in purgatory, the unborn and us; Litany to the Blessed Virgin Mary; and an invocation to the angels.
