* Dedication Mass
The addition to St. Joseph Chapel at 102 West Penn Ave. in Pennsboro is almost complete and the congregations of Christ Our Hope Catholic Church and St. Johns' Catholic Church in St. Marys are celebrating with Mass at 1 p.m. Sept. 22.
Mass will include:, the Most Rev. Mark Brennan, bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston; the Very Rev. Father Rice, vicar forane; and the Rev. Shinto Mathew, pastor.
A free outdoor dinner is planned after the Mass at the Chapel and residents are invited to join in the festivities. Previous parish members have been invited to return.
The congregation of Christ Our Hope lost its church in a fire in October 2021.

* Fall Vendor and Craft Fair
VIENNA -- The Fall Vendor and Craft Fair will be 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 5 at Wayside United Methodist Church, 3001 Grand Central Ave., Vienna.
Proceeds will benefit Youth Missions. Concessions will be provided by Wayside Youth.
