The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lisa C. Schindler and the late Stephen G. Cottrell. She is a 2012 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2016 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. She is set to complete a master's degree in education in the spring.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Linda and Tony Brunicardi. He is a 2012 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2016 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in political science. He is working toward a law degree and is scheduled to graduate in spring 2019.
A May wedding is planned at Blackwater Falls.
