Mr. and Mrs. Stephen and Evelyn Waller of Waterford will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 6.
Steve and Evelyn exchanged vows on July 6, 1974, at St. John's Catholic Church in Churchtown, Ohio.
Steve, a graduate of Fort Frye High school, is the son of the late Ray and Jennie Waller. He retired from American Electric Power in 2007. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching local high school and collegiate games.
Evelyn is a graduate of Waterford High School and the daughter of the late Howard and Gertrude Arnold. She earned her LPN from Washington County School of Practical Nursing and worked as a private practice nurse at offices in Beverly and Barlow.
Steve and Evelyn are the parents of Christy (Scott) Stephens of Columbus, Stephanie (Mark) Francis of Pittsburgh and Marquis (Ashley) Waller of Beverly.
The couple has eight grandchildren: Cory Stephens of Columbus, Cadence, Tytan, Tristan, Catore and Treytan Waller of Beverly, and Trevor and Owen Francis of Pittsburgh.
