HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, GARY!!
Well, we made it past 50, and this year we celebrate 55 years of marriage on Aug. 16.
We have had some very good memories and some not so good, but that is life. We have worked hard and loved our work. You as a helicopter mechanic and truck driver. I was a bookkeeper and then an aide in the classroom for many years with some great teachers and so many children.
We have received so many blessings in our 55 years and the top of the list are our two children. Son, Christopher, and daughter Taia Lincicome. We are also blessed with 4 grandchildren, Jarad and Mariona Haught, and Nicole and Ryan Lincicome. We both enjoyed our parents into their 80s and 90s and we were able to retire in our early 60's.
Our early retirement allowed us two trips out West, two New England adventures, and multiple trips to the Deep South.
In our 55 years, we met and became friends with our neighbors (we've been in the same house for 53 years), 40 years at a church close to home, and now our church family at Vienna Baptist.
I look forward to whatever is in our future as long as we take the path together.
