Robert and Lou Ann Dowd of Parkersburg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 13, 2023. They were married at Red Hill United Methodist Church by the Rev. John Icenhower.
Lou Ann is the daughter of the late Floyd and Jean Utt. Robert is the son of the late Robert and Margery Dowd.
Robert and Lou Ann have two daughters, Kimberly (Randy) Hansen of Pittsburgh and Rebecca Dowd of Parkersburg. They have two grandchildren, Laurel and Cole Hansen.
Robert retired from DuPont and Lou Ann retired from GE Plastics.
