Dick and Pat Cooper of Parkersburg recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple were united in marriage at First Christian Church in Parkersburg. The marriage was officiated by G. William Wolford on April 3, 1973.
A party was held in honor of the couple, and the meal was catered and provided by their children, Dawn DeMoss (Rick), Clint Cooper (Amanda) and April Ice (Jason). Friends and family joined together to celebrate with the happy couple.
A short stay at Pipestem Resort State Park followed the celebration.
The couple would like to give a special thank you to their granddaughter, Chef Alexis DeMoss, who made several delicious appetizers for the meal.
