Carman and Beverly (Holbert) Adams of Parkersburg were united in marriage on April 17, 1953.
They met in the youth choir at South Parkersburg Evangelical United Brethren Church and they continue to attend there, now called South Parkersburg United Methodist Church.
They have been active members serving the Lord with their gifts of leadership, teaching and singing for over 70 years. They have one son, Mark, five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
