Danny B. Alvis and Rosalee Alvis of Parkersburg observed their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 8, 2022. They were married in Roane County. The Rev. John Hall officiated.
Rosalee is the daughter of the late Charlie Waggoner and Mabel Waggoner Miller. Danny is the son of the late Ray and Imogene Alvis.
Danny and Rosalee have two children, Ed Alvis of Mineral Wells and Angie Whipkey (Tim) of Lubeck. They have one granddaughter, Brandi Whipkey (Amanda) of Painesville, Ohio, and two great-granchildren, Bailee Whipkey and Zachariah Whipkey of Painesville.
Danny retired from DuPont and Rosalee retired from St. Joseph's Hospital (dietary).
