Gary and Marcie Brode of Parkersburg are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on Nov. 20, 2022.
Gary is retired from Forma Scientific/Thermo Fisher and Marcie is retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The happy couple enjoys spending their summers making memories with family and friends at their cabin at Lake Washington where they both sit on the board of the Lake Washington Club Association. When they are not working or relaxing at the lake, they love traveling to see their son, Andy Brode, daughter-in-law Jennifer (Deem) Brode and grandson Maddox of Mooresville, N.C., as well as their two daughters Heather and Erin Brode of Westerville, Ohio.
