Carl and Janet Chichester will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 15, 2022. They were married June 15, 1962, at Summit Valley Methodist Church in Parkersburg, W.Va. Carl retired from Matheny Motors and Janet was a homemaker.
The couple has three daughters Carla and Steve Browning of Reedsville, Cathy and Jerry Swain of Umatilla, Fla., Jill and Tim Smith of Hockingport, Ohio. They have five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
