Stephen and Martha Berrang of Belpre will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 16, 2022, with a dinner surrounded by family.
Steve was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and Martha worked for the U.S. Treasury in Washington, D. C., where they met and were married June 16, 1962, by the late Father John T. Trapold at The Church of the Assumption in Washington, D.C. They settled in Belpre, Ohio, and have resided there for 58 years and are members of St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
He is the son of the late Robert Berrang and Helen Boyles Berrang. He retired from Linde/AGA Gas of Washington, W.Va. He continues to enjoy working for Pioneer Trails Motor Coach Charter and Tours as well as Astorg Motor Co.
She is the daughter of the late Howard William Bertram and Florencetta "Ruth" Groves Bertram. She retired from National Church Residence as manager of Putnam Howe Village, Belpre. She enjoys her card groups and outdoor gardens.
They both enjoy time with family, of which they have three daughters, Pamela (William Todd) Cochran of Lubeck, Diane (David) Stephan of North Fort Myers, Fla., Lori Berrang of Marietta and one son, Gregory (Sandra) Berrang of Springfield, Tenn.
They enjoy seven grandchildren, William 'Gregory' and Stephen Cochran, Shawn and Heather Stephan, Krista West, Tonya Thornton and Justin Keith. They enjoy and love to spoil 10 great-grandchildren, Scott, Ethan and Devin Stephan, Logan Shelton, Ashton, Rylan and Meaghan Thornton and Blake, Braydan and Chyanne West.
