Dorsey and Sarah Elder Cheuvront celebrated their 65th anniversary Oct. 3.
They were married in Winchester, Va., and have made their home in Parkersburg for the past 58 years.
They have four children: Dorsey (Rebecca Bergen) Cheuvront Jr.; Michaele (Chet) Rhodes: Deric (Shelley) Cheuvront and Melissa (Roger) Hanley.
They also have nine grandchildren.
