The ceremony was officiated by Dave Foutty, a friend of the couple.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Julie Carpenter of Vienna and granddaughter of Larry and Connie Brown. She has three brothers, Ryan Carpenter (daughter, Briar), Kyle Carpenter (fiancée, Kirstyn Cline) and Brady Carpenter.

The groom is the son of Brent and Jeri Smith of Williamstown and grandson of Joyce Sigmon. He has one brother, Chase Smith (wife, Lacey Smith, and son, Wesley Smith).

The maid of honor was Kristen Cullum, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids included Kassandra Corbitt, friend of the bride, and Megan Radcliff, cousin of the bride. The best man was Chase Smith, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Johnathan Carpenter, son of the bride, and Peyton Hughes, cousin of the groom.

The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Many loved ones were remembered in spirit, watching over the celebration from Heaven.

The outdoor ceremony was officiated by the groom’s uncle, Lance Beckley, and attended by the couple’s family and friends.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Angela Tadlock of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of Victor and Sharon Davis, and of the late Tado and Sally Tadlock. A 2018 graduate of Williamstown High School, Victoria (known as Tori) earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University in 2022. She is employed as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Peoples Bank in Marietta, Ohio.

The groom is the son of Bart and Debbie Beckley of Parkersburg. He is the grandson of George and Charlotte Hardman; the late Jim Eddy; and the late Galen and Judy Beckley. A 2016 graduate of Parkersburg High School, Brett earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Nutritional Sciences in 2020 and a Master of Business Administration from West Virginia University in 2021. He is employed as Assistant Vice President at First Neighborhood Bank.

The wedding party included many of the couple’s closest loved ones. The flower girl was Demi Fleming, niece of the groom, and the ring bearer was Kyrie Fleming, nephew of the groom.

Emma Pfeiffer of Marietta, Ohio, cousin of the bride and a lifelong sister at heart, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Aleea Gray, Katlyn Holsinger, and Taylor Quickle, friends of the bride; Isabella DeAngelo, cousin of the bride; Jerenie Sands, cousin of the groom; and Taylor Beckley, sister of the groom.

Ian McElroy of Parkersburg, lifelong best friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Branson Dils, Gage Smith, Garett Smith, Luke Schenerlein, and Parker Miller, all friends of the groom, along with Cale Varney, nephew of the groom.

The couple celebrated their marriage with a joyful reception following the ceremony, surrounded by laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.

After a honeymoon in Montana, the couple will reside in their hometown of Parkersburg.

Pastor Timothy Cinnamon of Parkersburg officiated the outdoor ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Aimee Earley of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Donald and Margaret Earley and the late William and Eileen Higbee. She is a 2009 honor graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2013 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s of science degree magna cum laude in interior design. Ashley is employed at Arhaus Furniture in Shadyside, Pa., as the visual manager.

The groom is the son of Eric and Caroline Binner of Natrona Heights, Pa. He is the grandson of Arlene Binner of Tarentum, Pa., and the late Carl Binner, and the late S. Gene and Mary Jo Pleva. He is a 2010 honor graduate of Highlands High School in Natrona Heights and a 2016 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s of science degree cum laude in chemical engineering. Micky is employed at Plug Power in Canonsburg, Pa., as a senior process engineer.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her parents for the processional to the song “When You Say Nothing at All.” Ashley wore an off-white full length bohemian style gown embroidered with appliques and spaghetti straps. She wore a matching cathedral length veil as a gift from her maternal grandparents. She carried a bouquet of colorful spring flowers with a necklace belonging to her maternal grandmother attached to it.

The flower girl was Arlene Binner, grandmother of the groom, who scattered dried petals from flowers given to the bride from the groom throughout their courtship.

The matron of honor was Hannah McLendon of Kernersville, N.C., friend of the bride whom she met at the University of Sunderland in England when she studied for a semester abroad. Bridesmaids were Brittany Wolfe, friend of the bride of Vienna, Ellie Binner, sister of the groom of Cheswick, Pa., and Katie Zimmerman, sister-in-law of the bride of Raleigh, N.C. They wore individually chosen blue jay colored full length dresses and carried spring flowers.

The best man was Nicholas Dileo, high school friend of the groom, from Charleston, S.C. Groomsmen were Justin Jacobsky, college friend of the groom, of Greensburg, Pa., Josh Ippolito, future brother-in-law, of Cheswick, Pa., and David Earley, brother of the bride, of Raleigh, N.C. They all wore gray suits, white shirts and ties that matched the bride’s attendants.

Jocelynn Higbee, cousin of the bride, gave readings during the ceremony. The processional following the double ring ceremony was the song “I Do.”

A reception with dinner and dancing followed the ceremony at Willowbrook. On display at the reception were bridal headpieces worn by the bride’s mother, the bride’s maternal grandmother, also the groom’s mother and paternal grandmother on their respective wedding days. Following the reception, the newlyweds left under an arch of lighted Star Wars swords formed by the wedding guests.

After a honeymoon in Hawaii, including the islands of O’ahu and the Big Island of Hawaii, the couple resides at their home in Bridgeville, Pa.

Sean Simmons of Beavercreek, Ohio, was best man for his dad.

The bride wore a lavender beaded dress by Mac Duggal.

Following a buffet by Blessed Bites, the entertainment was by Jim Forshey, doing his Elvis impersonation.

Simmons is a semi-retired attorney and Pam is a retired attorney correspondent from Niagara Falls, N.Y.

The couple live with their two pug dogs, Ming and Dynasty, and four cats in Rockport.

Mr. Sheff is the son of the late Betsey and William H. Sheff Jr. He graduated from PHS followed by WVU-P. He retired as a lieutenant with the Parkersburg Fire Department and the Naval Reserve and National Guard.

Mr. Sheff has two sons, John Sheff and Scott Sheff, and a grandson, Scott Jurado.
